For some, coffee is more than a kickstarter. Connoisseurs all over the world are aiming for Dubai, to taste the world’s most expensive coffee. Based in Al Quoz, Seven Fortunes Coffee Roasters is bringing over a particular „Geisha” variety, under the form of Panama Hacienda La Esmeralda Canas Verdes.

While the name will not ring any bells to a regular drinker, coffee enthusiasts will instantly widen their pupils. The above mentioned coffee type was sold at just over $1324 per kilogram. Furthermore, given that there are just 45.5kg available worldwide, it only makes it more exclusive.

Honestly, there is no surprise that a firm in Dubai is going to make it available to the public. In the same manner, the price for a single cup is enough to supply two to three months worth of regular coffee. Interested parties can opt for a $68 package containing 15 grams of the famous coffee or a $150 for an extra 50gram bean pouch.

The event will take place on September 30th at Seven Fortunes Coffee Roaster. If you’re up for the challenge, pack your bag and secure your flight now, because the amount is highly limited. And if by chance you really get to taste the exclusive coffee, head on to facebook and tells us what it’s like.
