The Greatest Beer Run Ever, starring Zac Efron, now has a trailer available, watch it down below.

The movie, which is based on a true incident, follows John „Chickie” Donohue (AKA Zac Efron), who leaves New York in 1967 to provide beer to his army pals in Vietnam as a sign of support from Americans.

But while there, he encounters the harsh reality of combat. The Greatest Beer Run Ever: A Memoir of Friendship, Loyalty, and War by Donohue and J.T. Molloy is the basis for the movie The Greatest Beer Run Ever, which was directed by Peter Farrelly (Green Book).

Russell Crowe as war photographer Arthur Coates and Bill Murray as bartender The Colonel round out the cast alongside Efron.

The supporting cast includes Jake Picking, Will Ropp, Archie Renaux, Kyle Allen, Matt Cook, and Ruby Ashbourne Serkis.

The movie is scheduled to screen for the first time at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2022, which runs from September 8 to 18.

On September 30, 2022, The Greatest Beer Run Ever will debut in a few theaters and on Apple TV+.

Later this year, the completely Australian-shot second season of the Netflix documentary series Down To Earth With Zac Efron will be made available.

For the travel-themed television series, Efron earned an Emmy last year for Outstanding Daytime Program Host. Efron played a lone traveler named Virgil in the Stephen King adaption Firestarter and the survival thriller Gold earlier this year.
