For anyone who follows the TAG Heuer brand closely, the name of Jack Heuer is one that you are likely to be familiar with as he is the designer who was responsible for many of the Swiss watchmaker’s most iconic collections of watches – most notably, the Carrera collection.
With the BaselWorld 2013 event now in full swing, TAG Heuer have seen the perfect opportunity to showcase the TAG Heuer Carrera Jack Heuer Edition watch which is being released to celebrate the 80th birthday of the man himself. They will be releasing two versions of the watch – a vintage version on the left above, designed by Jack Heuer – and an avant-garde variety on the right which has taken its design lead from the award-winning Carrera Mikrogirder.
