The Slimfold wallets are entirely recyclable, actually recycled themselves (25% post-consumer recycled content) and completely local production. We’ve been told that the finishing touches are added by a local Californian seamstress on industrial equipment. If you’re wondering what makes the Slimfolds so special, here you have it: they’re made out of Tyvek – the ultra rip-resistant FedEx mailing envelope material. This means they’re as resistant as the FedEx envelopes – which is pretty damn resistant. And they’re slim. And they fold. Which is sort of given away by the name, but still. Oh, and they’re waterproof.
