Glastonbury is the name for the „tent of the future”, as stated by Orange when unveiling this concept. This is a step towards integrating technology and comfort in camping in the middle of nowhere – assuming that you want to have wifi and wireless charging while camping in said middle of said nowhere. Seeing how this kind of beats the point of going camping in the first place, the sophisticated tent might remain a concept.

Hey, maybe finding your tent using an SMS message isn’t so bad after all. Maybe the fact that it glows in the dark won’t attract predators or weird forest-dwellers. Or hey, horrible insects. The only feature it has that could generate excitement in any shape or form is the groundsheet heater.
