The fastest start this week goes to Nicki Minaj’s „Super Freaky Girl,” which debuts at No. 4 on Australia’s singles chart. The Trinidadian rapper’s first solo song since „Megatron” in 2019 and her first ARIA Top 10 hit since „Bed of Lies,” which peaked at No. 7 in 2014, are both „Super Freaky Girl.”

The brand-new song, which will be featured on Minaj’s upcoming fifth studio album, borrows a line from the late Rick James’ 1981 smash „Super Freak.” Harry Styles’ „As It Was” returns to the top of the ARIA Chart for a seventh non-consecutive week, up 2-1, despite its impressive debut week.

On the most recent frame, released on Friday (Aug. 19), „As It Was” comes in the first place, followed by Steve Lacy’s „Bad Habit” (holding at No. 2) and Kate Bush’s „Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” (down 1-2).

Styles’ Harry’s House, which is up 3-1 in its 13th week and has been at the top of the national albums chart for six weeks running, gives the British singer a double win on Australia’s major chart. The #1 debut on the ARIA Albums Chart for the week of August 22 goes to well-known Australian country singer Troy Cassar-Daley with 50 Songs 50 Towns. At No. 1, it is new.
