The weekend before she was scheduled to play at the Leeds Festival in the United Kingdom, Halsey suffered from a serious case of food illness.
The alt-pop singer discussed her struggles in a now-expired Instagram Story. “No idea how I’m still alive after my Leeds set. I have terrible food poisoning STILL! It started yesterday at 2pm and I somehow made it on stage (after the medical team at the festival were soooo helpful). I have played shows under some messed-up conditions but last night might be the worst in recent memory. Felt like I was on Jupiter the whole time.” She added.
Late on Saturday (August 27), the celebrity revealed further information on their Instagram page, along with a behind-the-scenes video of oneself receiving medical attention.
„Well @officialrandl didn’t really start how I pictured it lmao! Thanks for being so awesome Leeds. gonna rest all day and show up in tip top shape for Reading tomorrow.” The post was captioned.
They also uploaded pictures of themselves looking stunning in another post, and between the pictures was a picture of her left arm covered in gauze and covered in blood.
The carousel came to a conclusion with a clip of the celebrity cuddling up under a white blanket while appearing exhausted. They titled their post, „24hrs of pure ‘wtf’.”
The vocalist of „So good” most recently collaborated with Calvin Harris, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell on the song „Stay With Me” off the latter’s recent album, the very collaborative Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2.
Last week, Halsey participated in the famous „Teenage Dirtbag” TikTok fad as well, calling the challenge „over” after sharing her „OG Tumblr girly” images from the late ’00s and the early 2010s.
