We got a 3.1-channel design at our hands to speak for itself. A great thing is, after you got it set up in your room and powered on, there is no further installation needed. There are four 1-inch midrange drivers, two for the center and one for left and right respectively. The big plus, the big difference is the three 1-inch aluminum tweeters for each of the front channels. The quality is very good, you don’t need to be a specialist to understand the differences. All the movies played on it are rendered at sharp and crystal clear sound processing and make the station desirable.
Via the DTS’ Play-Fi you obtain opportunities to reach your music just like an octopus, grabbing everything there is around and more. The likes of Pandora, Spotify and others should ring a bell for you. Still speaking of quality, because there’s more, the DTS-HD, including SRS TruSurround processing and the Dolby Digital 5.1 compatible formats are a proof of success. You can connect your PC and phone directly to it and play most of the music formats, such as MP3, WAV, FLAC etc. all at a higher quality.
In the end, it depends on what you’re looking for. It’s a good addition to your living room, but a must have if you’re thinking straight about a high quality station.
