Sumner Stroh, an Instagram model, claimed that Adam Levine had an affair with her, although Levine has acknowledged that they „crossed the line” with each other.
Stroh made headlines on Monday, September 19, when she claimed in a TikTok video that she had been dating the musician for over a year (though did not specifically say when).
In the video, Stroh said, „I was having an affair with a man who is married to Victoria’s Secret model. At the time, I was young, ignorant, and, quite honestly, I feel used.”
Alleged screenshots of amorous DM exchanges that supposedly took place with Levine were included in Stroh’s video. In one conversation, Levine said that he and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, were having a second child and asked Stroh if it would be okay if he named the baby Sumner if it was a boy.
In a message posted on Instagram on Tuesday, September 20, Levine addressed the accusations: “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life.”
“In certain instances it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family. My wife and my family are all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly mattered to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together.”He added.
Stroh briefly discussed the details of her connection with Levine with other people before Levine made his declaration.
While claiming that the alleged romance was „physical,” she just indicated that it happened „last year” and withheld any more information.
