Welcome to our weekly selection of sneakers that really stood out from the crowd of new releases this week. With the summer getting closer and closer, new design styles and updates of classic sillhouetes are getting taken out to the shelves. We took our shot and selected the top 5 pairs that caught our attention this week. Check them out below and tell us which one you like the most.
1. ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Laser Etched” Pack
We’ve got right here one of the most original try outs of the GEL-Lyte III. It features a single piece upper construction, from a single suede piece. Laser technology has been used to etch the paneled look throughout the top. The Asigs GEL-Lyte III is available in three colorways: Tan, Black and Burgundy. $172 on Aphrodite 1994
2. New Balance x Concepts 574 “Boston”
Celebrating the Boston Marathon, New Balance teamed up with Concepts, a Boston based retailer, to deliver the limited edition 574 model with direct inspiration from the marathon event. The most of the upper is painted blue and made out of premium suede, describing the Boston Marathon emblem and its medals. The design is finished with a laser etching of the Boston skyline. Available for a limited time on CNCPTS for $170.
3. Nike Air Force 1 Elite TXT
The iconic Air Force 1 gets yet another rendition from Nike, this time including woven. The sneaker includes an Air unit right to the heel and a complimenting black and white midsole. The black swoosh along the sides is in contrast with the light-colored tagging from the tongue and the heel. $120 on Oneness
4. visvim Spring/Summer 2015 Skagway Hi “Denim”
The Shanghai Hi silhouette from Japan’s visvim just got released with two new colorways. Keeping the look of a classic high-top, these sneakers have been adorned with premium denim upper along with contrasting suede touches on the tongue and heel. Metal eyelets and tonal stitching add to the awesome design. Available on Feature Sneaker Boutique for $630.
5. ASICS Gel-Lyte III “Japanese Denim”
We got another sneaker pair from ASICS on our list. The same Gel-Lyte III, but this time coming along with camouflage and black leather. Complimented with red detailing, this seems to tick the right nerve of those who may never think about wearing any time of camo materials. You can get it at Feature Sneaker Boutique for $120.
