Here’s our weekly sneaker set. We are rambling the internet searching for great shoes that really catch the spotlight. Check out this weeks top five pairs:
1. Nike Air Force 1 Ultra
You are looking at the lightest version of the Air Force 1 yet. Pushing Flyknit technology on the entire upper, Nike dropped the weight of its iconic sneaker. It is scheduled to hit the stores on February 17th with a $140 price tag.
2. Vans x Opening Ceremony “Passion” Pack
The ongoing partnership between the two popular sneaker names gave out another set. The “Passion” collection paints leather in red, violet, white and yellow. The pack features Old Skool LX, Sk8 Hi and a few other iterations. All shoes are available on Open Ceremony starting at $120.
3. adidas “Year of the Rooster” Pack
In Chinese Zodiac, 2017 is the Year of the Rooster. To celebrate along with one of its largest markets, adidas released an exclusive set commemorating the event. Five silhouettes have been customized for this pack: Superstar 80s, Stan Smith, Superstar Slip-On, Tubular Radial and EQT Support UltraBOOST. Shoes feature premium leather on their entire, accompanied by another layer of feather-imitation leather.
4. Comme des Garcons x NikeLab Air VaporMax
This is a very anticipated piece. Comme des Garcons and NikeLab have dropped the futuristic Air VaporMax. The foam midsole is gone. Instead, multiple air units have been introduced, as a part of a new sustaining technology. The upper is entirely made of Flyknit material. Most likely, the sneaker will be available in black and white colorways.
5. adidas EQT Support RF “Trace Green”
The number of EQT releases is growing constantly. Today we’re looking at the EQT Support RF dressed in Trace Green. Construction features mesh and suede, for a rather rugged look. A white midsole contrasts the darker nuances on the upper. Available on Afew for $140.
