The 2017 New York Auto Show brought together a ton of automotive beauties. But there have been beasts as well. It’s the case of Nissan Rogue Warrior project. Wheels are thrown away and Dominator Tracks are added in their place, to ensure maximum grip and torque delivery. The suspension was heavily modified (heightened) to accommodate the wide tracks.

On the body, the Rogue Warrior boasts a camouflage wrap and military yellow tinted windows. However, beneath the hood most things look the same. Nissan kept the standard 2.5 liter engine and Xtronic transmission. The 170hp and 175 lb-ft of torque are more than enough for the Rogue Warrior to climb snow banks or sand dunes, as Nissan states.

On top there is a huge ARB Gear Basket and LED light bar. Fitted with a Warn 4K winch, the Rogue Warrior can pull itself out of the swamp or rush to help other stranded vehicles. Sadly, only one piece was made specifically for the New York Auto Show.
