Functionality Doubled By Charisma

Being made by the Japanese, te G-Shock has already left a deep cultural footprint in and out, but mostly around eash horology enthusiast, for its resilience and impeccable display of quality, both in design and function. If you are a true watch lover, you have to appreciate the Casio G-Shock trademark. But if you’re a man by the most sincere and bared definition, the G-Shock Hammer Tone will appease you.

It is a limited edition of only 300 timepieces made for those who understand what a watch should be. Tough Solar, the general term applied by Casio for all the sun powered G-Shocks is present within this particular MR-G as well. Other than that, a GPS receiver able to update the model for any of the 40 time zones around the world, is present and functional. If functional is the first word coming to your mind when thinking about the watch to purchase, a G-Shock is the perfect match. But if you want to add charisma and unicity, the Hammer Tone is where you’re aiming at.

Hammer Tone – A Lesson Of Hunger For Success

One thing you have to know about this watch is how it’s acutally made. The motives of carved stone found on the strap or around the bezel and the case are obtained using a method the Japanese army used to wear with pride, called tsuiki, a way to create patterns on metal’s surface through hammering.

With hard labor and perseverance, the shortest path for a real man to obtain what belongs to him. To continue with this analogy, it’s exactly what makes this Hammer Tone a limited edition, because showing off is easy, but keeping your spirit humble and hungry is what leads you to success.

The case and the bracelet are DLC-coated titanium, with the bezel and center links finished using oborogin (dusky silver). This material is actually an alloy of silver and copper, with oborozuki meaning „the hazy brightness of the moon on a spring night”. The timepiece is a collaboration with a third-generation master metalworker, named Bihou Asano. This water and shock resistant beauty will become available starting July this year.
