There is not one car out there whose design lived throughout decades like the Porsche 911. The brilliancy in design combined with hefty power output inspired many and sold hundreds of thousands of cars.
Porsche Design AG, a division of the luxury sports car manufacturer, is delivering luxury branded watches that inspire from the cars. The latest release, 1919 Chronotimer Flyback pays homage to the iconic Porsche 911.
Unlike many other luxury watches, the 1919 Chronotimer Flyback features an in-house built mechanism. The mechanism (Porsche Design Werk 01.200) is certified by COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres).
The dials point towards outer-placed minute marks and rotate over two tachymeters. The case is made of high tensile titanium alloy with a chrome finish.
