“I try to catch the decisive moment when the person in the photo is starting to think about something extraneous. And in that moment, the whole entourage surrounding the man in the photo, comes to life, “- says the photographer about her work.
“My photographs are the theatre of my fantasies, revealing the privacy of my own history. They are often the last step in a slow thinking that I can live for days and nights. So I am happy to make my daydreams, create my staging and my scenes to get the little breath I had shifted to head against the observation of everyday life.
I love those moments where I can reinvent the scene to appropriate objects to make them say something else. Scenes of everyday life are for me a source of inspiration, the newspaper can be a very deadly boredom but stare back with a little light and gives a different look …”
